Integrating 10BASE-T1L into building controllers eliminates the need for power-hungry and complex gateways, enabling real-time control of long-distance sensors and actuators through single-pair twisted cables, significantly enhancing BMS performance. Depending on network performance and requirements, building controllers that support 10BASE-T1L can expand their coverage through an almost unlimited number of edge devices. Furthermore, these controllers are equipped with network fault monitoring capabilities and can utilize fault detection and cable diagnostics to easily identify wiring issues, ensuring stable system operation.
